Poetic Thursday: Artwork

Welcome to another edition of Poetic Thursday. As usual, we’re joining Pam, Teddy and Angel Sammy, at Two Spoiled Cats for some poetry.

This is our photo inspiration for today:

From what I understand,  this is street art in the Montmartre region of Paris.

Here’s my poem:

Artwork

As I look at all this talent, I am in awe:
because all these folks just love to ‘draw’.

A blank canvas is just the start,
but it certainly isn’t for the faint of heart.

In what may be your proudest day,
your work is complete and on display.

Soon, it will be off to someplace new,
for someone will love it as much as you.

  1. It is a magical place to be – so much talent in one little “square” but then these little artist haunts are all over Montmartre. Thanks for participating in Poetry fun on Thursdays with us!

  2. I’d love to do this with some of my 52,000 photographs.
