I actually wrote two poems for this photo. This was the first:
At The Shore
A day at the shore
Bodies galore
No room for more
But, then I thought that was a cop-out, so I wrote another one:
At The Shore
A day at the shore under a summer sky;
umbrellas, beach towels and people, oh my!
Folks enjoying the sea and sand,
no room to sit or even to stand.
Not for us, that crowded blur;
these are the beach-goers we prefer.
