Monday Memories

Apparently, Motor Man and I have slowed down somewhat, at least in the area of what I think would make interesting blog posts.  I don’t seem to have had many ideas recently.

Last week I posted an old picture of my grandfather standing in a field among the  peanuts shocks, and it seemed to be popular among my readers.

So I think I’m going to start a little series sharing photos from the past, along with my memories of that picture, one day each week.

Today, my photo is one that I first shared here not long after I began blogging.

This is Marshall at about 4 months old (which would have been on Oct 16), on the day he discovered his toes.  My mom had come for a visit, and no matter how many times, I sat him back up, he was determined to lean over and look at his toes.

I’m so glad my Mom snapped this picture. It brings back such sweet memories of that day.

Happy 4-month birthday (a few years later), Marshall.
