The sky at sunset on Monday evening was an interesting one. The day had been sunny, but a small, quick moving storm was moving in late in the day.
Some of these photos were taken from inside, including this one, which was taken from an upstairs window. The setting sun had the marsh grass and trees on the other side of the river lit up as though they were in a spotlight. to photographers, this is known as ‘golden hour’.
Those clouds in the distance looked so menacing, but we received a very small amount of rain from that storm.
Although it was chilly outside, I ventured out to get pictures anyway. This one was from our side yard.
And after sunset, there was still some drama.
In just a few weeks, the sunset will be further to the right (I believe that’s south?) and unobstructed by trees. I’m looking forward to that AND warmer temps to capture sunset photos.
