When we go out in our yard, we never know what I’ll encounter. (Thankfully, no snakes so far this year, but we’re always on the lookout.)
A few days ago, I took some meal worms out to fill the bluebird feeders. Directly under the shepherd’s hook holding the feeder, I spotted this box turtle. It was just too easy to offer him some meal worms. This picture was taken after I’d grabbed a flowerpot saucer to put some water in for him.

Here’s the video showing that he approved of the lunch I provided:
I never saw him drinking the water, but at least it was there if he needed it. This restaurant’s goal is to keep our customers happy.

I’m sure Mr. Turtle enjoyed his snack and drink of water…..I have a feeling you’ll have a “frequent flyer” now thanks to the menu at “Cafe Dianna”………

I am sure when he got back to his home that he told the other turtles about this wonderful restaurant. More customers to come. Lol. 💖🤗🌹
I think he’ll be back for seconds! Don’t you just love living where you get lots of visitors? We do too!
very cool ! – we see one every now and then out in the yard. I’ll go grab him ( they’re a lot faster than their reputation suggests), bring him up to the deck, and go get some cat food for him. I decided it’s the equivalent of some restaurant coming to pick me up, taking me to their parking lot and leaving me outside. Then they go in and bring out some food I didn’t order. Then they stand there and wait for me to start eating ….
Looks like he enjoyed his lunch at Diana’s Cafe!
