Poetic Thursday: Lace

It’s poetry day here at These Days.  Our friend, Pam, and her kitties, Teddy and Angel Sammy, at Two Spoiled Cats, host Poetic Thursday each week, and we like to join them.  Here’s the photo they gave us for this week’s inspiration.

And here’s my poem:

Lace

My favorite color has always been blue.
Found these faux berries and greenery, too.

Brought them home, to my gypsy garden they went;
gave that corner a little summertime hint.

One morning, this scene brought a smile to my face:
one of God’s tiny creatures had spun me some lace.
