Thursday means poetry here at These Days. Each week, our friend, Pam, and her kitties, Teddy and Angel Sammy, at Two Spoiled Cats, host Poetic Thursday. They provided us with this photo for our inspiration this week. (I added Fred’s ‘name tag’ for clarification with my poem.)
And here’s my poem:
Fred
One of these is not like the others;
let’s talk about it: can we adopt her?
She’s not all that different from you and me;
we could add another branch to our family tree.
We knew you’d be a problem, Fred;
now ‘put your eyes back in your head’!
