Hello, efurryone, this is Gypsy. Apparently my step sis-fur, Coco, and I are taking turns with the Monday blog posts, and today is my turn!
Since Motor Mommy knows that we have some new subscribers to the blog, she suggested that I post some pictures of me as a baby and give our readers a little background on how I came to be in the family.
It is estimated that I was less than two months old when one evening, I just showed up at the back door of the shop that Motor Man and Motor Mommy own. (Motor Man builds race engines there.)
I was scared and shivering and just looking for someone to take care of me. Motor Mommy brought me in and held me and talked softly to me.
Then she went out and bought all the things a kitty needs. Over the next few days, she called the vets in the area and the animal control folks to make sure I didn’t belong to anyone. She also put up posters in the immediate area. But no one claimed me. (That sounds a little sad, but I am FURRY happy with my life and can’t imagine that it could be better with any other family.)
Once they realized that I was going to be their shop kitty, they took me to the vet to get checked out, and in a few weeks, I went for a little surgery.
When my pawrents have to be gone for a trip, my ‘brofur’, Marshall, comes to take care of me.
This is one of Motor Mommy’s favorite pics of me. That was when I was a young, silly kitten. I’m too mature for that now.
Now, as a senior kitty (I’ll be twelve next month), I spend a lot of my time napping.
