Poetry is a fun way to end the month of July. Almost every Thursday, we participate in Poetic Thursday with 0ur friend, Pam, and her kitties, Teddy and Angel Sammy, over at Two Spoiled Cats. They chose this picture for our inspiration today:
Here’s my poem:
Snack Attack
It’s the Bear Cub Club, step in if you’d like;
the campers are off on a morning hike.
I’ll see if they left anything for a snack,
and be outta here before they get back.
It’s never fun to get caught in the act:
it might give those humans a heart attack.
Imagine them opening up the flap
to catch me in here taking a nap.
