Hello, readers, Coco here, and Motor Mommy said that I’ll be the sole author of Monday Morning Mews, now that my step sis-fur, Gypsy, is an angel kitty.
I’ve been giving extra lovies to my pawrents and trying to do things to make them smile. And I’m sharing one of those things today. But first, I need to give you a little background.
My pawrents’ friend, Charlie, helps Motor Man at his shop and with an occasional project here at home. Charlie has a twenty minute ferry ride as part of his commute. Each morning, Motor Man gives him a call while he’s on the ferry, and they talk about what they’d like to get done at the shop that day. So I’ve grown very accustomed to Charlie’s voice. In fact, I make sure that Motor Man doesn’t forget to call him. I will come sit by his feet when he’s at the kitchen table for breakfast and wait for him to call Charlie:
And sometimes, when I hear Charlie’s voice, I meow.
One morning, Motor Mommy had an idea. She videoed me while Motor Man was calling Charlie. Here’s what happened. Be sure your sound is on:

My little trick was very popular with the three of them, and each morning, they all wait to see if I’m going to repeat it. But I like to keep them guessing….. will she or won’t she?
