Wow…. anyway, here’s my poem:
Confession
We’re glad you’re home! We heard a boom!
And suddenly, gifts exploded all over the room!
Oh, wait, we just have to confess:
it was us who made this mess.
So now, we’re not really your ‘good boys’,
and Santa won’t be bringing us toys.
Or….maybe we were wrong, just forget all that.
We remember now: it was really the cat!

Hilarious! I imagine Coco and Teddy would both say “cats couldn’t make that mess – it had to be the dogs!” but then you just NEVER KNOW FOR SURE!
