Poetic Thursday: Snowman Crop

I’m back for Poetic Thursday after a couple of weeks of not participating. Our friend, Pam, and her kitties, Teddy and Angel Sammy, at Two Spoiled Cats, gave us this photo* for our inspiration:

And here’s my silly little poem:

Snowman Crop

“What’s that growing there in your field?”
“Snowmen. Conditions made for a good crop yield.

The smaller variety is easy to grow
and we find it requires quite a bit less snow.

Tourists always like to stop
to check on our bumper winter crop.”

(*this photo is from the Million Snowman March, part of the annual Sapporo Snow Festival in Japan.)

  3. What an original ‘crop’. Love the humor in the poem and your cute poem. I just don’t want to be in on the harvest. 🙂
