Just For The Beauty
Sometimes you can’t believe your eyes:
right by your feet, there’s a tiny surprise.
Remnants, perhaps, of what used to be;
a homestead and hard-working family.
A mother who saw to her family’s needs,
and just for the beauty, planted some seeds.

That’s a good one…..! I sort of thought maybe a seed was just flying by in the wind, saw that “industrial jungle” and decided to land and start something NEW………..LOL I realized it was an AI photo but I still thought it would make for some good poetry!

Nice! I like the personal connection to a past time. Made me remember the daffodils in the middle of our cow pasture. You knew a family home had been there at some time.
I realized that it was AI also, but good poem thread.
