Saturday was my father-in-law’s 91st birthday. Yesterday was the celebration.
It’s rare that the entire family can get together at one time. Their four children along with their spouses, the grandchildren and the great grands all gathered for the party.
The youngest was great granddaughter, Lilly.
Sunshine and temps in the seventies made for a good day for the little ones to run and play.
And go for wagon rides.
To check on a younger cousin, getting back on her feet after a tumble.
And to go for a Sunday drive. *
And for photographers – of all ages. *
The birthday boy received this “I’m the boss” sticker in one of his cards. He chuckled when he was told that he could only wear it temporarily: then he had to pass it on to his wife.
Happy Birthday, Pop. You really ARE the boss.
Photos noted with * were taken by Motor Man’s sister, Carolyn.
