Poetic Thursday: The Kitty Clean-up Crew

Happy Thursday! It’s poetry time!  Each Thursday, we join Pam and her kitties, Teddy and Angel Sammy, at Two Spoiled Cats, to share some poetry, based on the photo they gave us the week before.

This is our inspiration for today: (cute,huh?)

And here’s my poem:

The Kitty Clean-up Crew

New business in town: the kitty clean-up crew;
twenty-four/seven, we’re here for you.

On-the-job training if you’d like to help,
but, really, we’d rather just do it ourselves.

We’ll consider each and every call,
but spilled milk is our favorite job of all.

This little toddler is cute as can be,
and she’s what we call job security.

No payment is due when we finish the task:
tummy rubs and ear scritches are all that we ask.
