Motor Man and I have several Ring security cameras on the exterior of our house. There’s one camera that we’re waiting to have installed, so we just have it connected to power in our living room to keep the battery charged.
Last week, the day after we returned from our trip, I was busy unpacking suitcases and doing laundry. The washer was going, but I heard a voice in the other room. No one was at home but Sundae and me (Motor Man was at our shop). So it was a bit concerning, and then I realized that it was Motor Man’s voice.
And here’s the video clip from the Ring camera. Let me just say that I wasn’t nearly as perturbed as I appear at the beginning of this clip. Be sure your sound is on:
I realize the view of the room shown in the video may be a bit confusing, so I snapped this picture. The wheel that you can see is one of the old tricycles we have displayed in front of our fireplace, and a stuffed snowman is riding. The camera is (temporarily) on that little stool to the right.
Sundae and I can attest that, with Motor Man, there’s never a dull moment around here.
