When I began writing this blog, I didn’t post on weekends. For some reason, blog traffic seems to be much slower then than during the week.
Since I have so many photos of sunrises and sunsets, I recently began writing “Sunrise Saturday” and “Sunset Sunday”, using one photo each day. Sort of a “mini” post for my weekend readers.
But Tuesday of this week, the sunset was so amazing, it was worthy of a weekday blog post of its own.
The day had started with severe thunderstorm warnings, followed by brief periods of heavy rain and wind. By afternoon, the clearing had begun. But there were still enough clouds in the evening sky to create a beautiful sunset.
The ducks gathered along the water’s edge,
Then swam off into the sunset.
Yes, it was definitely worthy of a weekday blog post.

Oh my goodness. These are perfect. That 2nd to last shot is my favorite with the ducks swimming towards the sun. GORGEOUS!
Next…you have to work on getting your ducks in a row!

The ducks really add to the peacefulness in all the shots.
