One of our favorite day trip destinations is the Eastern Shore of Virginia. That was where our travels took us yesterday.
We saw horses in pastures:
And, of course, the grass is always greener…
We saw a grain truck on a lift being emptied of its cargo:
We saw cargo ships anchored in the Chesapeake Bay, off Cape Charles, waiting to be loaded or unloaded in Norfolk, Baltimore or Newport News.
We saw the LOVE sign in Cape Charles.
And we saw a beautiful old home, seemingly vacant and waiting for someone to hopefully love it once again. (Or perhaps not vacant and just waiting for a little lawn care.)
A variety of scenes just waiting to be seen.

Glad you two enjoyed your drive – you always do!

What an interesting travelogue in pictures. The grain truck reminded me of helping Dad during harvest season – just smaller trucks. I relaxed just looking at your pictures.
Pretty
I really like this collection of images – they all seem to belong together as part of a set !
You never know what might be seen on a drive. We love those kind of trips.
Great pics!! I do agree with Marshall, they belong together.
I haven’t been there in a while. This makes me want to go back!
