It’s Thursday! Time for poetry! We always look forward to Thursdays and joining Pam and her boys, Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats to share poetry.
This is our CUTE inspiration photo for this week:
And here’s my poem:
Whose Door?
No, no, no! I’ve told you before!
You can’t go out this doggie door!
The family put this here for me
to go outside when I feel ‘the need’.
But you’re too young, and it’s not safe.
So that’s why I have to block your way.
Now you can get mad and you can pout,
but there’s no way I’m letting you out.
You can go outside later today
when Mom and Dad take you out to play.
~These Days Of Mine~
That is just the cutest picture and the perfect poem to go with it! You know that little one thinks it was made just for a quick getaway!
Perfect!! We’ll done!!!
So cute! I just loved that photo the second I saw it – I knew people would have fun writing a poem for this one! Bravo…….thanks so much for being part of our Poetry Thursday – you knock it out of the park every week!
Pam
Nothing’s getting past that doggo !
The cuteness gets you every time!! Great poem.
That is a great poem. I like the idea of a protector.
