Thursday again, poetry again. We’re joining our friend, Pam and her kitties, Teddy and Angel Sammy, at Two Spoiled Cats, for Poetic Thursday.
They provided us this picture for inspiration:
And here’s my poem:
Skating
When he first saw her, she was on skates.
He ordered a burger, fries and a shake.
He had to do it; he took a chance
and asked her to go with him to the dance.
She said yes, that was just the start:
she skated her way right into his heart.
~These Days Of Mine~
Awwww…..PERFECT POEM! I remember one of the places I used to frequent in the old days the car hops wore skates and I also remember seeing more than one of them fall with food trays before getting to the car! EEEK! What a fun memory it is though having food delivered to the car. Sweet days.
Pam
Sweet that you turned it into a romantic poem!
