These pictures were taken a few weeks ago from our bathroom window.
The white flowers are Rose Campion, and the deer don’t care for them.
Over the years, I’ve learned what not to plant because of the deer. There are a few perennials that I planted before I knew better. Each year, they return. But I know not to be surprised if they are destroyed by the deer.
I’m thinking someone may have just had a drink from the bird bath; notice the tongue.

Even if you’ve reduced the “edibles” in the garden, they will always appreciate a nice cool drink of water!

The white flowers make for
a nice setting for pictures.
I did notice the tongue. Glad to know it was not one of your plants!
They’re everywhere … on South Church Street, too ..
I love to see deer and you & JR have a wonderful place for them to come.
The white flowers even look like ‘antlers’ on the deer. A love/hate relationship with deer – love to see them, but not for them to eat our flowers.
