Poetic Thursday: At The Airport

At The Airport

I was people-watching as I awaited my flight,
when I encountered this cute, comical sight.

A baby in a bin going for a ride,
while mom takes a minute to get her shoe tied.

I couldn’t help it: I had to smile.
Does baby earn “frequent conveyor belt miles”?

Yes, it’s a bit corny, but I wrote it at 3:00 a.m. when I couldn’t sleep, so…..

  1. HA! Cute poem – ESPECIALLY if you wrote it at 3AM (which was when I was just getting up for the day!!). It’s a cute photo that brings many things to mind and I just knew it would be a fun one for Poetry Challenge!! GOOD MORNING….
