Autumn Skies

A quote that I’ve shared here before is contributed to Charles Dickens: “Nature gives to every time and season some beauties of its own’.

And although I tend to agree,  I like to think of it this way: “Mother Nature is one of God’s most talented artists”.

This was the sky around sunset Saturday evening.

This time of year, that late afternoon sun just seems to set the marsh grass ‘on fire’.

The blue of the water and sky, and the white of the boats and clouds create a beautiful painting.

Beautiful skies aren’t just in the area where the sun is setting; this was in the opposite direction.
