Monday Memories: A Six-Year Old At Christmas

Continuing with this month’s memories of Christmas, today’s post features a photo of Marshall taken on the Christmas Day that he was six years old.

Can you just feel the excitement? (I’m sure he’ll comment below and remind me exactly what that is that he just opened.) I’m thinking that this was a gift from a relative, probably as a result of a hint from me about some toy I knew he would like.

On the hall tree behind him is a doll that I made, and that’s my Mom’s purse hanging on the hook. She always spent Christmas Eve night with us, and that was the ‘spot’ for her purse pocketbook.

Aren’t memories just so special?

  1. Our memories are special…..unique…..little snippets of time when things were happy and exciting like they usually are at Christmas. Marshall looks VERY pleased with his new toy – maybe an action figure of some kind?
