Poetic Thursday: Starlet

Welcome to the first Poetic Thursday of April. Each week, we join Pam, and her kitties, Teddy and Angel Sammy, at Two Spoiled Cats to share some poetry.

This week’s photo inspiration that they provided us with last week:

Here’s my poem:

Starlet

A silent movie star looking cute
in a Humpty Dumpty photo shoot.

Celebrating the nursery rhyme?
Or maybe done at Easter time?

A bygone era, a vintage style;
one thing stays the same: a starlet’s smile.

  1. Cute poem!  I thought in light of Easter “season” a girl in an egg was an appropriate photo for poetry this week. Thanks for playing along……..

  2. Oh Goodness. That’s adorable and an appropriate poem. Now I’m trying to imagine how she got in that position on that rock….

  3. Cool pic and poem ! - I’m in the middle of a “noir-athon”, so this fits right in with the theme !
