Here’s my poem:
What Would You Do?
People were laughing and stopped to stare.
Was the guy embarrassed: did they even care?
Was he hurt? Did they have any advice?
Even a kind word would have been nice.
But I can’t say that they were to blame:
I probably would have done the same.
“I don’t really mean to be rude,
but exactly how did this happen, dude?”
