Y-a-w-n
What a boring meeting, I can’t stay awake;
just how LONG does one presentation take?
Can’t he tell? Doesn’t he realize
this is torture? We’re dropping like flies.
Staring out the window, enjoying a daydream.
And I need coffee: 2 sugars, one cream.
I’d love to be home with my cat on my lap;
you can bet that spoiled girl is having a nap.
Oh, good, I think he’s finally done:
I’m outta here for some freedom and fun!

If he’s excited about his topic, he needs to freshen up his delivery!!!! I LOVE your alternatives to being in that meeting! I choose hot tea and a book.

Good one! I’ve sat in many a meeting like this one but fortunately never “drifted off” like some of these people appear to be doing. Fun photo though – I knew it would generate some super poems – thanks for joining in the fun!!!
