A few mornings ago, as Motor Man sat at the breakfast table, he noticed this egret in a nearby tree.
So I ran for the camera and snapped a few shots through the kitchen windows. I don’t think this one was scanning for breakfast. It seemed more intent on grooming.
Just hanging out on a branch and enjoying the sunrise.
I can relate (well, other than hanging out on a tree branch).

I’ve always thought egrets were so very majestic…….love that it’s enjoying the morning sun.

Well caught! We watched one groom – for a LONG time – every morning while were at the lake. Very careful about their grooming.
They are such beautiful birds!
