Poetic Thursday: Heartstrings

As we do nearly every Thursday, we’re joining our friend, Pam, and her kitties Teddy and Angel Sammy, at Two Spoiled Cats for some poetry.

This was the photo we were given for today’s inspiration:

And here’s my poem:

Heartstrings

Big and fierce, fragile and small,
this picture seems to cover it all.

It gives my heartstrings a little tug:
he’d like to give her a gentle bear hug.
