The Pool
Okay, guys, this just isn’t cool:
our dads have commandeered our pool.
We see it, but we can’t believe our eyes;
you’d think they’d prefer something more their size.
But we know this without a doubt:
our moms are gonna make ’em get out.
Maybe they’re just being little boys today,
so I guess it’s okay to let ’em stay.

I guess we all have our moments when we don’t act our age (!) but obviously a full pool was irresistible for the guys in this photo……..it was probably halftime at the football game on TV they were watching and they decided to take a dip! Thanks for playing along with us on Thursdays – poetry is FUN……
