Jitterbuggin’:
These two really know how to cut a rug;
their favorite dance is The Jitterbug.
To dance like that would really be sweet;
so sad that I’m cursed with ‘two left feet’.

these days of mine 
Well I clearly remember my sister teaching me to jitterbug so she’d have a partner to practice with – even though I was just a little girl at the time and it’s a favorite memory of mine. I love the enthusiasm of this couple. Thanks for participating in Poetry Thursday!
