Poetic Thursday: That Friend

It’s time, once again, for poetry with Pam, and her kitties, Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats.

And here’s my poem:

That Friend

We all have that particular friend,
whose favorite phrase is “let’s pretend”.

Once, we made believe we were trees:
full foliage tops and bare naked knees.

It was the silliest thing we’ve ever done,
but catching folks off guard was kinda fun.

But I think we’re done with being trees;
I’m allergic to pollen: made myself sneeze!
