Monday Morning Mews: Motor Man

Good morning, efurryone. Coco, the long haired calico, here with my weekly report.

If you’re a regular follower, you probably recall that, when my ‘motor pawrents’ adopted me in December of 2024, I was a very timid kitty. Although the door was left open, I preferred to just stay in the guest room for several weeks.   I warmed up first to Motor Mommy, but would scurry under the bed whenever Motor Man would come in the room. And I did the same when Marshall would visit. Over time, I came to realize that they’re both good guys and would never do anything to hurt me.

Although I’ve only gotten in Motor Man’s lap once, I do allow him to pet me, and I ‘talk’ to him sometimes.

A few days ago, he was lying on the bed, relaxing, and he invited me to visit.  Imagine his and Motor Mommy’s surprise when I accepted.

Ah….head scritches.

I’ve claimed him: now he’s mine.

Yep, he has definitely won me over.
