Tuesday seems to be my day to update Sundae’s progress in dealing with her new family and surroundings. She’s been with us three weeks now.
She’s settling in really well. After a couple of weeks of totally ignoring it, and sleeping instead on the cold, bare floor, she’s accepted her kitty bed (under our bed.)
But sometimes, she likes to sleep ON our bed. By the way, did you know that the little pink spot on a kitty’s nose is referred to as “nose leather”? Sundae’s is pink, but on some cats, it’s black.
Sundae also likes to nap on her window seat.
And she’s definitely learned where to greet the morning.

A whole lot of cuteness!! I wouldn’t mind that view every morning either. “Best part of waking up with Folger’s in your cup” and in front of that window.
Sundae recognizes a good spot when she sees it.
She is so lucky to have you and Motor Man as her “parents”.

She is so cute. Makes me want to get one! Unfortunately, our little doxie does not like cats.
Looks so nice and peaceful outside your window! We had horrible weather lastnight. I actually got scared at one point and was making a tornado plan in case one touched down. One touched down at our friend’s house two miles away and tore up several trees and wrecked their fence. Transformers went out, well, I think they did anyway. The sky lit up a bright blue and all power went out. That was all last night and as far as today goes? It’s sunny and bright. Almost too bright. I had to close the blinds in my office. Ok, I have spent all morning reading blogs and have not gotten a thing accomplished. Have a great day!

What an adorable cat, and she does look right at home, I once had a cat that found me, and he brought me so much joy. He and I were friends for 10 years. I know Sundae will bring you the same.

She is so sweet! Our cat (actually my daughter’s) has a routine for where he sleeps at different times during the day. Then he usually has his 11pm run around the house. I wonder. Do all cats do that? Our last one did too.
