Hi, it’s Sundae, and I’m finally getting a chance to post again. Sometimes Motor Mommy can be such a computer-hog. But don’t tell her I said that, or she might stop giving me treats. And changing my litter box. And brushing my fur. You get the idea.
Anyway, today I wanted to share pictures of my favorite time of day. In the evening, Motor Man relaxes on their bed and watches tv or takes a nap. But, first, he plays a little game with me. I’ve come to expect it, so every evening, I jump up on the old trunk at the foot of their bed in anticipation of our game.
Motor Man places a pillow on the bed, and sort of hides his hand under it, but not quite. He lets me see his fingers under the edge, and waits for me to pounce on them.
Here I am, hiding behind the footboard of the bed, so he can’t see me. Do you think he knows I’m there?
Uh-oh, I think he’s onto me.
Yep, he definitely knows I’m there.
WHAT?! Can’t you see I’m busy being invisible?
(I later apologized to Motor Mommy for my outburst. She is, after all, my press agent, and her photos do add a little something to my blog posts. To borrow a word from one of my kitty co-bloggers, she IS impawtant.)
And now, if you’ll excuse me, I must (yawn…) go catch a nap . It will soon be playtime again for Motor Man and me, and I have to be on my game.

Alex feels the same way you do sundae… He says I hog the blog!
Hi Sundae! Nice pix your Motor Mom took of you playing “THE GAME” with your Dad. It’s fun to teach humans how to keep us entertained isn’t it????
Have a nice sunny perch kind of day!
Love, Sammy
Oh gosh Sundae, I am smiling here! You are such a lucky kitty that Motor Mommy finally let you get your paws on the puter! Nah, I don’t think MM knew you were hiding there keeping your Calico self all invisible. Did Motor Man jump when you finally went sailing over the footboard? Have a great Wednesday Sundae!
T-Bob is purring in my lap. I think he would love to play, too.
Shame on you, Motor Mommy, for letting Motor Man know where Sundae was!!
I think with your special coloring, you were probably quite invisible! Besides, kitties know how to be stealthy, don’t you!? Enjoy your game, and your nap! Glad to hear from you today!
What a fun game, Sundae! You sure know how to live it up 😉
And Motor Mommy – I LOVE your bed – so gorgeous!
Sundae, you and Stormy would have a lot of fun playing together. She loves to play games and hiding is one of them. She likes to hide around the corner and when I peek my head around, she’ll jump up really high.
SO cute!!!
Adorable!! Love your bed too.
I was admiring the oak bed, too. Very pretty. Sundae, you are the perfect accessory; it’s always nice to read your posts. Such a talented kitty. Maybe you need your own smart phone.
Looks like so much fun for Sundae … I mean Motor Man … I mean Motor Mommy .. ah, well: for everybody!!!
Oh, Sundae, you lead such a charmed life! What would they do without you to amuse them? And us??? 😉
Our babies are demanding their own press. Yours is even posing with the backwards glance over shoulder. Did you teach her this one from the runway?
Cute photos! I don’t know how you get your cat to be so cooperative! ~ Sheila
😆 Aw precious Sundae girl what a delightful sweetie you are. 🙂
Such a cute post, Dianna! Your cat Sundae is a sweetie! I know Motor Man enjoyes playing this game with her. Love your bed, trunk and quilt, too. 🙂
Family game night and be such fun, Sundae enjoy.
