Thursday again. Poetry again with Pam and her ‘boys’ over at Two Spoiled Cats.
Here’s this week’s photo inspiration:
And this is my poem:
Her wardrobe is bright, and her jewelry bold.
Pay her and have your fortune told.
Her ‘news’ could make your blood run cold,
or possibly be the promise of silver and gold.
Perhaps for some, but I’m not sold;
for me, no crystal ball scenes to unfold.
It’s my belief, and it’s centuries old:
that no mortal knows what the future holds.
When I stop over at Pam’s blog today, I’m sure her readers will have different interpretations of this picture. And that goes for my blog followers, too.
Please know that my poem isn’t meant to judge nor offend anyone.
~These Days Of Mine~
Good one! I think there will be an amazing batch of poetry for this photo today…..can’t wait to read all of them. Thanks for having fun with us on Thursdays – poetry is such a pleasure to write AND read!
Pam
great and fun!
Light-hearted fun this morning. Just what we need.
Fun and good job again!!! ❤
The gypsy here doesn’t look too sure of it all herself – something in that expression !
I liked it and agree with you. 🙂
