Spark On Monday

Today, I’m trying something new: I’m participating for the first time in a blog meme called “Spark On Monday”.

I’m familiar with this meme because my friend, Pam, at Two Spoiled Cats, shares an inspirational thought or quote each Monday.

The blogger who began this meme ( Annie McGuffy at McGuffy’s Reader) is no longer blogging, but apparently many of her former followers are carrying on the tradition.

So today is my first “Spark” .  I saw this quote on Facebook last week, and it  inspired me so much that I saved it.

I always enjoy Pam’s  spark each Monday, and I hope the one I’m sharing today will bring you a smile and maybe will be some encouragement for those who may need it.

  1. First of all – welcome to SPARKS on Monday. This one you posted is absolutely perfect too. I love it. Maybe because I was a weed when I was a youngster….but now that I’m in the full flower of my senior years I think having been a weed once made me stronger.

  2. Love the SPARKS idea. It did make me smile as I thought about all the ‘unwanted’ dandelions that pop up right after you cut grass!

  3. Nice …. it reminds me of a scene in Alice in Wonderland after she’s been made small – she wanders into a flower garden and all of these regal flowers are trying to figure out what type she is – & they basically determine she’s a weed …

A perfect first spark!!!! Looking forward to more.

  5. How perfect. A spark. And dandelions are so overlooked and maligned. They’re so cheerful and full of wishes.

  6. Oh, I really like this idea! I hadn’t heard of Spark on Monday. Good way to start off the week. Can’t wait to read more.
