Poetic Thursday: The Glass House

Welcome, once again, to Poetic Thursday, here on These Days. Each week, we join Pam and her kitties, Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats for some poetry.

Last week, they gave us this photo as inspiration:

And here’s my little poem for today:

The Glass House

We love sunlight, there’s no doubt,
and lots of windows, so we can look out.

But a house made of glass would not be for me;
I’m much too fond of my privacy.

  1. same! great poem

  2. Yep – that’s the first thing that went through my mind when I saw the photo but I looked beyond “me” and now I’m wondering if a gerbil would also feel like his/her privacy was being invaded too! Good job on your poem !!
