Wildlife Wednesday: Ducks, Sunset, Wind Chimes

I’ve said many times that I’m glad I don’t have to choose between sunrise and sunset as my favorite time of day.  Our house overlooks a marina, so sometimes in the summer on nice-weather days, sunrise is a little quieter.

A few weeks ago, I was out taking pictures of the sunset, and the ducks were swimming nearby.  They come up in our yard frequently, and we feed them corn.

Several (probably MANY) years ago, I hung a set of wind chimes on one of the branches of the old cedar tree out on our point.  Those wind chimes have survived the years: storms, heat, cold, nor’easters and probably a hurricane.  But they’re still chiming.

This is a quick little video I took that evening. (Be sure your sound is on.)

Such a peaceful end to the day.
