It’s poetry day here at These Days. Each Thursday, we join Pam, Teddy and Angel Sammy, at Two Spoiled Cats, for Poetic Thursday.

They provided us with this photo for our inspiration for today’s poem:

And here’s my poem:

Style

So I’m wearing straw and wheat on my head;
but I’d rather be wearing a ball cap instead.

I walk the runway, stifling a smile,
while modeling these ridiculous styles.

I think we agree it’s a safe thing to say:
you won’t see this on Main Street, USA.

    I am pretty confident in saying that no one I know including myself would ever wear that hat. Lol. Great poem!
