It’s the first Poetic Thursday of July. This is the photo inspiration provided by our hosts, Pam, Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats.

And here’s my poem:
Camper For Two
I’m not a camper: too much of a priss,
but I must admit, I kinda like this.
Cute and cozy, built for just two.
This may be the start of something new.
A few days off, and we head out of town.
That night, I’m whispering: “What was that sound?!”.
The next morning, we’re up with the sun,
and a new day’s adventure has begun.
~These Days Of Mine~

I like it …. & your poem is shaped a bit like a little camper !
I used to camp with a group of friends years ago – regularly in fact. We all would pack up tents and food, etc. and head to the mountains and enjoy a couple of days and nights having fun. I always thought it would be fun to rent a camper but wouldn’t want to own one. This little one in the photo captured my imagination and maybe a little bit of my heart! Good job on your poem though – those mysterious night sounds just might be too much to handle…..!!
Pam
A perfect little picture & poem for summer.
Cute little camper and thoughts expressed in your poem to go with it. The ‘bumps in the night’ sounds sent us home while tent camping once. I like my conveniences now!
