Windowpane Wednesday: The Reveal

You may recall last week’s Windowpane Wednesday when I shared photos of an obviously nursing Mama Deer.

And here are her BABIES:

They are SO cute.  I love this of one of them staring at the squirrel that’s part of this bird bath. I think the caption should be: “Are you for real?”.

They were just so inquisitive about everything around them.

I couldn’t stop taking pictures.

“Yikes! Something touched my foot!”

Peeking out from the marsh grass:

I couldn’t help but think that this may have been their first time venturing out ‘into the world’.  Hope Mommy continues to bring them around to visit.

Love the deer pics! Absolutely adorable!

  3. You captured some great photos of those cute babies! A friend of mine, who lives near me, has two does who frequent her yard with their fawns too. She gets such a kick out of watching them. Unfortunately, now that they are venturing out into the world, we’ve had to stop twice on the road for them.

  4. Very good pics ! – if it’s not their 1st time out, it’s their 2nd or 3rd !

So very, very precious! So glad that you had the opportunity to photograph them!

  6. Aw, for these precious fawn photos, I wish WordPress had a love-heart button along with the like button. Your Gorgeous photos are real smile givers.

  7. I hope those two cuties will be OK – hopefully Mama will keep a close eye on them. We haven’t seen the Mom and two fawns that we’d seen in our yard a few weeks ago in a while. I keep hoping they’are all OK. I worry about them!

Dianna, these are some of best nature pictures that you have shared so far!! They are so precious and fun to see. Their mother knows the best place to show them for sure. Chuck and I saw two beauties this morning on the way to Uzzell’s. They were in a field close to Hwy 10 between Suffolk and Chuckatuck. What concerns me is they were there coming and going to church. I did not see any parents around. I am praying they will be safe there.
