Windowpane Wednesday: Sundae’s View

Today’s Windowpane Wednesday features our sweet calico, Sundae. Recently, in the early morning, I’ve been opening the wooden door to our deck, and Sundae has been enjoying viewing the wildlife outside.

In order to enjoy eating their corn in peace (away from the Canada Geese), the ducks have begun climbing the three steps to our deck where I feed them. Sundae is a little leery of them, probably because they’re about her size. She likes watching, but she does it from the side.

I caught this little video of one of their exchanges:

She’s much more at ease with the squirrels, who stop by to clean up what (if anything) the ducks leave.

And when all the critters have had their fill, Sundae just enjoys a little sun time at the door.

You’re a lucky girl, Sundae, to have a show right outside the door.

And this morning, as I post this, she’s in her spot, keeping an eye on the outside world.

  1. Sundae has good “scenery” from all of her windows and now the slider to the deck where she can see even more critters. Live TV! Can’t beat it!
