Poetic Thursday: Just No

After a break last week (for our host’s well-deserved vacation), we are back with Poetic Thursday. Our hosts are our friends, Pam, and her kitties, Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats.

This is the terrifying picture they gave us for today’s poetic inspiration:

And here’s my poem:

Just No

No indeed, nope, no sir and no way:
and that’s about all I have to say.

A well-built, sturdy bridge makes me weak,
this one just makes it hard to speak.

My hands are clammy, and I’m feeling sick,
and that’s just from looking at the pic.

This is the Hussaini Bridge in Pakistan, thought to be one of the most dangerous bridges in the world.  For more info and pics, click here.

  1. Good job! Love it……….I get a little “clammy” when I think about having to cross that bridge too but I’m sure those who use it daily don’t give it a second thought.

  2. NADDA!!! Seriously! I can’t even comprehend putting one toe on that bridge. WHEW!!! I’ll stay on terra firma! You said it well!

  3. You got it ….. at least they have handrails .. ; )

  4. Thanks but no thanks to using that bridge. Is there an alternative?
