It’s Thursday, so we’re joining Pam, Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats for some poetry as we do each week.
They gave us this photo last week for our inspiration:

And here’s my poem:
More Sand
Sometimes the beach just needs more sand,
so men with machines lend a hand.
Beach-lovers know more sand’s on the way,
and there’ll be more beach to love in just a few days.
No peace at the beach while this job’s getting done,
but it’s fun to watch, and we’re having fun in the sun.
~These Days Of Mine~

Hopefully they are adding sand – looks like they’re dredging and causing a big mess but the SUN and the beach are all that matter right? Right! In the end everyone will be happy. Thanks for playing poetry with us………
Pam and Teddy too
All I know is that’s a big mess & I’m glad I’m not in charge ….
Oh the memory this sparked! We vacationed in FL on the Gulf of Mexico during a sand replenishment job. They worked at night, so we were subjected to backup beepers all night long. Got us a pair of ear plugs – worked like a charm. The plus was the beautiful shells that were deposited overnight. Every morning was like a treasure hunt.
You poem matches the event perfectly!
