It’s Thursday and time a poem. As usual, we’re joining our friend, Pam, and her kitties, Teddy and Angel Sammy, at Two Spoiled Cats, to share poetry.
They provided us with this photo for our inspiration:
Here’s my poem:
Because She Asked
Oh, how he loves that little girl.
She brightens his life; she’s his whole world.
Dress like a ballerina to mow the grass?
And he did it, just because she asked.
~These Days Of Mine~
So cute picture and poem!
it looks like he’s wearing bunny ears, too ?!
Dads of little girls are special. My husband was the perfect Dad for his two gals. Sweet poem.
Yes, he was. I remember!
Ha-ha! Reminds me of my son. He does stuff like this for his little girls. 🙂
Aw, that makes him a very special daddy!
Sweet! We had the same idea with a couple of twists…..I thought the little girl had an Easter basket in her hands so I decided he was dressed with bunny ears and that silly outfit for fun but whatever the situation, it’s an interesting photo for sure! Brave guy to wear that tutu……my silly husband said on that guy the “tuto/twotwo” was more of a “fourfour”……HAHA
Pam
Hilarious comment from Dave! Yes, I didn’t notice that the little girl had an Easter basket, but I did see the bunny ears!?
Our mom absolutely loved your poem. Only four lines but filled with heartfelt emotion. Good job! XOCK, angels Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta & Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer, Kizmet, Audrey & Raleigh
