Here’s my poem:
A Hard No
Do I want to go?
That would be a ‘hard no’.
I wouldn’t do that on a dare;
I haven’t lost a thing up there.
Let’s just hope it all stays on track.
And I’ll be here waiting when you get back.

When I was young and crazy I loved roller coasters BUT back then they weren’t as SCARY and crazy as they are now. They didn’t break speed record and didn’t have upside down loops and sharp turns – they were just fun. I love the poetry this photo generated though! Glad you played along!

I’m agreeing with the ‘I haven’t lost a thing up there’!
I’ve never been on a roller coaster – not even the Big Bad Wolf or Loch Ness Monster when they were all the rage .. just never went ! – & I like how this one has just a touch of Dr. Seuss in it.
It’s probably a hard no for me – but I wish that I was still young enough that I’d at least consider saying “maybe.”
I used to love riding roller coasters, but now as I’ve gotten older, not so much. Not because they scare me because they don’t, but because they bother my neck and back. 😦
