This photo was taken through our living room window when Marshall was three years old. (That’s a crocheted snowflake that I made hanging in the window in front of Santa’s face.)
And, just between us, Santa bore an amazing resemblance to one of our neighbors….

How fun! Reminds me of when I was 4 or 5 and Santa came to my house on Christmas Eve and asked to see me. After I excitedly crawled out of bed, there he was standing in our living room. Suspiciously, he too resembled our neighbor (who just happened to be an older lady!!).
I sometimes joke around about remembering things you post from when I was younger, but I do remember this, & I knew at that moment it was time to get to bed !
