Monday Memories: 23 Years

Yesterday, Motor Man and I celebrated our 23rd anniversary.

We didn’t go out of town to mark the occasion, because we had some local commitments this past weekend. But we did go back to Bacon’s Castle, where our ceremony took place on 02-02-02. It’s less than thirty minutes from home, so it was a nice Sunday afternoon drive.

Over the past 23 years, there have been times that we didn’t visit the Castle on our anniversary.  But it’s always nice when we can do that.

We have many special memories of our wedding day and our family and friends who shared that time with us. It’s bittersweet to think of those who are no longer here.
