Our area is under a rare Winter Storm Warning. The National Weather Service is predicting ten inches of snow for us, beginning around lunchtime today and last through most of tonight.
For my northern friends, that may not sound like a lot, but to us….it’s a LOT. I heard that even Jim Cantore is in nearby Virginia Beach. You know it’s serious when that guy comes to town.
The last time we had a sizeable snowstorm was in December, 2010. My blog cover photo of Bacon’s Castle was taken the day after that storm.
Motor Man and I have dentist appointments (about 30 miles away) this morning, so we’re hoping to be done with those and back home before the roads become dangerous.
